Description

The SureFire DG-14 is a grip switch assembly designed for shooters running an X-Series or XH-Series WeaponLight on a full-size or compact SIG Sauer P320, M17, M18, X-Carry, X5, X-VTAC, or P226R. Its purpose is straightforward: it lets you activate your light without shifting your grip or repositioning a finger to reach a tail cap or paddle switch.

The switch uses a center-mounted pad that sits flush against the grip panel area. Because the pad is positioned where your support-hand fingers naturally rest, activation is a matter of applied pressure rather than deliberate hand movement. This matters in any situation where your grip is already established and you need light on target immediately. The ambidextrous design means the activation point is reachable regardless of which hand is primary or which side your support hand falls on.

The switch offers both momentary and constant-on modes. Momentary gives you light only while pressure is maintained — useful when you want to avoid committing to a lit profile. Constant-on engages with a toggle, freeing a hand for other tasks without having to hold the pad down. Transitioning between the two is mechanical and straightforward.

Note that the DG-14 is not compatible with the XH50G; all other X-Series and XH-Series lights work with this switch. Installation replaces the grip panels on compatible pistols, so the switch becomes part of the overall grip profile rather than sitting proud of it.
