Description

The SureFire KM1-E is a bezel assembly designed to bring dual-spectrum capability to legacy M300 Mini Scout Light bodies — specifically the M300A, B, and C variants — without replacing the host unit entirely. If you run a Gen-II night vision device and need a single light head that covers both white light patrols and IR-illuminated operations, this is the straightforward solution rather than carrying two separate lights or swapping filters under pressure.

Switching between white light and infrared is handled by rotating the bezel, which means you can change spectrum with one hand and without removing the light from the weapon. There is no IR filter to lose, forget, or fumble. The TIR — Total Internal Reflection — lens shapes the beam into a pattern that reaches out at distance while preserving enough surrounding spill to keep you oriented to your immediate environment, a meaningful trade-off compared to a tightly focused thrower that leaves your periphery dark.

White light output runs for 1.5 hours on a single CR123A battery, while IR mode extends that to 6 hours — IR LEDs draw considerably less power, which matters when you are running the light continuously under a night vision device over a long operation. The body is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum and finished in Mil-Spec hard anodizing, with a tempered window over the LEDs. At 1.28 ounces with battery installed, it adds negligible weight to a weapon system that is already optimized to stay light. The KM1-E is built and finished in the USA.
