Description

The DS-SR07 is a waterproof switch assembly designed for most SureFire Scout Light® WeaponLights, giving shooters a more ergonomic and redundant means of activating their light without rearranging their grip or breaking a firing position. It is built for anyone running a Scout Light on a rifle where the standard tailcap placement creates an awkward reach or where momentary activation needs to be faster and more intuitive under stress.

The assembly pairs two independently operating switches: an integrated DS00 click-on/off pushbutton housed in a two-piece, O-ring sealed body, and a plug-in remote tape switch on a 7-inch cable. That separation matters operationally — if one switch fails or becomes inaccessible, the other still activates the light. The remote tape switch combines a momentary-on pressure pad with its own click-on/off toggle, both housed in an overmolded body shaped to seat in a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail. The over-molded construction protects the electronics from impact and keeps the profile snag-resistant against gear.

The two-piece switch housing swivels, which lets you dial in the exact rotational position of the pushbutton before locking it down — useful when rail space is crowded with other accessories or when the light is canted for a specific mount. A system disable feature lets you lock out the light entirely when noise or light discipline is required, independent of switch position. The O-ring sealing throughout maintains waterproof integrity even when the remote plug is connected. This assembly does not fit the Micro Scout Light Pro.
