The dual-fuel design gives the light meaningful flexibility in the field. Running the included SF18650 rechargeable lithium-ion battery delivers 700 lumens and 100,000 candela with a beam distance of 632 meters and a runtime of 2.75 hours. Dropping in two 123A lithium primary batteries — the kind that live in a chest rig or pack for years without degrading — reduces output to 600 lumens and 90,000 candela but keeps the light operational when a recharge is not possible.
