Description

The SureFire SOCOM6-MINI4 is built for shooters who run 6mm ARC and need a suppressor that keeps up with hard use rather than one that gets babied on a bench. At 5.8 inches, it sits toward the compact end of full-rifle suppressors, which matters when you are trying to preserve balance and maneuverability on a carbine-length host. That length reduction is not a compromise — it is the result of optimizing the baffle geometry specifically around 6mm ARC rather than adapting a larger-caliber design downward.

The construction is 100% Inconel, a nickel-chromium superalloy that holds its mechanical properties at the sustained high temperatures a rifle suppressor sees under continuous fire. Inconel costs more to machine and weld than stainless steel, but it does not soften or distort when the can gets genuinely hot — which matters both for long-term bore alignment and for the durability of the muzzle end, which SureFire redesigned on the MINI4 to better survive front-end impacts.

The low-back-pressure design cuts gas return to the action by 60% compared to conventional suppressor configurations. On a direct-impingement host, that difference is tangible: less gas dumped into the receiver means less carbon fouling on the bolt carrier, reduced wear on the buffer and springs, and a measurable reduction in the amount of combustion gas that reaches the shooter’s face. Recoil character also shifts — the pressure spike that drives the bolt rearward is blunted, which tends to make split times easier to manage.

Mounting uses SureFire’s Fast-Attach system, which locks and releases without tools and is compatible with the full range of existing SOCOM-pattern muzzle devices, including the SF3P, FH556RC, and WARCOMP open-tine flash hiders.
