The TriggerTech Diamond is a two-stage drop-in trigger built for AR-15 shooters who want a repeatable, adjustable break across a wide range of disciplines — precision rifle, competition, hunting, and duty use alike. The two-stage design gives you a deliberate first stage at a fixed 0.25 lbs, serving as a reference point before the shot rather than dead weight you’re fighting through. The second stage carries all the adjustability: pull weight runs from 1.25 lbs to 3.75 lbs, putting the combined total between 1.5 and 4.0 lbs, dialed in with a hex key from the top of the housing without disassembling the trigger group.

TriggerTech’s Frictionless Release Technology replaces the traditional sear contact surfaces with a roller-bearing interface, which is how the Diamond achieves its specified 0.000″ of measured creep. Overtravel is held under 0.015″ and reset under 0.030″, both short enough that follow-up shots don’t require significant forward movement of the finger before the trigger is ready again. The reset is tactile and mid-force — firm enough to register clearly without demanding deliberate effort to find it under time pressure.

The housing is machined from 7075 aluminum and anodized, while the key internal components are 440C stainless steel finished in PVD Black — Physical Vapour Deposition, a hard coating applied to give the external steel a consistent matte black appearance that resists wear. It installs on any AR-15 using standard mil-spec 0.154″ trigger pins, which are not included. A flat trigger shoe is standard on this variant, which positions the finger contact point lower on the blade compared to a curved shoe and is the preference of many competition shooters for consistency across varied grip pressures.
