Description
The TriggerTech AR-15 Duty is a single-stage drop-in trigger built for shooters who need consistent, repeatable performance under demanding conditions — close-quarters work, harsh environments, law enforcement and military applications, 3-Gun competition, and varmint hunting. The pull weight is fixed at 3.5 pounds, which removes the temptation to adjust under stress and guarantees the same break every time the trigger is pressed, regardless of who installed it or how long it has been in service.
TriggerTech’s Zero Creep technology eliminates the pre-travel between take-up and the break, so the trigger moves and then fires — nothing in between. The reset measures 0.070 inches with a tactile mid-force feel, meaning the shooter can confirm reset by feel without resetting further than necessary before the next shot. Overtravel is held to 0.060 inches, limiting rearward movement after the break and keeping the shooter’s index finger from disturbing the sight picture. The hammer delivers full strike force, so there is no trade-off in ignition reliability in exchange for the lighter pull.
The housing is cast from EZAC, a zinc-aluminum alloy that balances strength and weight. Key internal components are 440C stainless steel, finished in Physical Vapor Deposition black — a hard, bonded coating that resists wear and corrosion without adding meaningful thickness. The trigger fits any AR-15 that accepts standard 0.154-inch mil-spec trigger pins; pins are not included. This is a flat-bow lever in the single-stage configuration, covered by TriggerTech’s lifetime warranty.
