The TriggerTech Diamond is built for precision rifle shooters who need consistent, repeatable pull weights well below what a factory Remington 700 trigger can deliver. It fits Remington 700 and compatible clone actions, making it a straightforward drop-in upgrade for bolt-gun builds oriented toward benchrest, F-Class, long-range hunting, or competition work where trigger control directly determines group size.

The core of the Diamond’s design is TriggerTech’s Frictionless Release Technology, marketed as Zero Creep and supported by their CLKR and TKR internal systems. Rather than relying on conventional sear surfaces that slide against each other under spring tension, the mechanism uses a rotating pivot to release the striker. That approach eliminates the tactile creep shooters feel as sear surfaces drag across one another, producing a break that is as close to instantaneous as a mechanical trigger can achieve. Overtravel after the break measures under 0.010 inches, which limits the amount of disturbance introduced to the rifle at the moment of firing.

Pull weight adjusts continuously between 0.3 and 2.0 pounds via a set screw accessible from underneath the housing, so the same trigger can serve a 100-yard benchrest session at its lightest setting or be wound up for field use where a heavier pull adds a margin of safety. The housing is machined from 7075 aluminum, and the key internal components are 440C stainless steel. External parts are finished in PVD Black — a Physical Vapor Deposition coating that bonds a hard, corrosion-resistant black finish directly to the metal rather than sitting on top of it like paint or blueing. The flat trigger shoe on this right-hand version suits shooters who prefer a consistent finger placement point and a more defined wall before the break. A safety is included and is removable; there is no bolt release on this configuration.
