Description

The Combat Thermal Mount is built for shooters who want to run a clip-on thermal imager in front of a daytime optic without sacrificing a compact, weapons-ready profile. It mounts directly to a standard M1913 Picatinny rail and positions the thermal at a 1.54-inch optical centerline — low enough to maintain a practical cheek weld and keep the overall package manageable on a carbine or rifle.

This variant is configured specifically for the iRay RH25 thermal monocular. The three CTM models are purpose-fit to their respective devices and are not interchangeable, so the fit between mount and imager is deliberate rather than adjusted. A force-to-overcome mechanism governs the flip-to-side function, meaning the thermal swings out of the optical path under controlled resistance rather than free-pivoting — useful when you need the thermal cleared quickly but don’t want it flopping under recoil or handling. The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with an anodized coating.

The integrated FAST QD Lever allows the entire unit to detach and reattach from the rail while retaining co-alignment with the host optic, so the thermal can be pulled for use as a handheld imager without losing its zero when remounted. When paired with a FAST Accessory Riser, the system reaches the standard FAST height of 2.26 inches, making it compatible with the broader FAST mount and optic ecosystem. On a FAST Thermal Riser, the centerline rises to 2.05 inches. The CTM is covered under U.S. Patent 12,135,190.
