UNITY DIVING BOARD FOR REKE 34MM BLK

Description

The Unity Tactical Diving Board is a purpose-built accessory for shooters running the REKE Scope Mount who need a dedicated forward platform for a laser rangefinder. Rather than crowding a rangefinder onto the same rail as the optic or improvising a workaround, this component positions a full M1913 Picatinny section above and forward of the 34mm REKE mount, keeping the rangefinder where it can function without interfering with the optic’s adjustment or eye relief.

The mounting arrangement matters in practice. A rangefinder placed too close to the shooter or too far rearward on a rifle creates parallax problems at certain distances and can conflict with scope controls. By extending the Picatinny rail in front of the scope body, the Diving Board places the rangefinder in a position that keeps the optical and ranging axes as closely aligned as geometry allows, which is relevant when engaging at the distances where a rangefinder earns its place.

Construction is 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodized finish in black. The 7075-T6 alloy is chosen in load-bearing accessory applications because it carries a high strength-to-weight ratio, resisting deformation under the mechanical stress of repeated mounting and field use without adding mass that would shift the rifle’s balance. Type III hardcoat anodizing produces a dense oxide layer that holds up to abrasion and environmental exposure better than standard anodizing. The Diving Board requires the 34mm REKE Scope Mount, sold separately, and is not compatible with other mount platforms.
