Description

The Unity Tactical FAST COG mount exists to solve a specific problem: standard-height optic mounts force a chin-down, hunched posture that works well on a square range but breaks down the moment a shooter is wearing a plate carrier, communications headset, night vision, or a gas mask. By raising the optical centerline to 2.05 inches above the rail, the mount lets the shooter keep their head upright and their spine neutral, which translates directly into faster target acquisition and less fatigue during extended use with heavy kit.

The mount is built specifically around the Trijicon ACOG and VCOG double and triple screw footprints, so it accepts both scope families without adapters. Multiple mounting hole positions let you dial in eye relief depending on the weapon platform you’re running. The base also incorporates the FAST offset accessory interface at both the forward and rear positions, which means you can add a miniature red dot at the same 2.05-inch height on a 35-degree cant — a practical arrangement given that ACOGs and VCOGs are fixed-magnification optics that benefit from a rapid close-range backup. The mount ships with a standard three cross-bolt rail clamp, which does not require tools to swap between rifles but does not offer tool-free quick detach.

Construction is 7075-T6 aluminum with a Type III hardcoat anodize finish. That alloy and treatment combination is hard, corrosion-resistant, and keeps weight down without trading away durability. This is a purpose-built solution for the Trijicon ecosystem — if you’re running an ACOG or VCOG and regularly work in full kit, the geometry here addresses a real ergonomic constraint that standard low mounts cannot.
