Description

The Unity Tactical FAST FTC Holosun mount is built for shooters running a Holosun magnifier who want a controlled, deliberate transition between magnified and unmagnified shooting rather than a spring-loaded flip they cannot govern. The defining mechanism here is the force-to-overcome design: the magnifier moves only when the shooter pushes it, in either direction, with no spring tension to drive it. That matters in practice because a conventional spring-loaded mount can actuate from incidental contact during handling or while moving through confined spaces. With the force-to-overcome system, the mount stays exactly where it was placed until the shooter decides otherwise.

The stow position is equally considered. When flipped out of the sight line, the magnifier drops below the optical axis rather than swinging to one side. Folding laterally increases the overall width of the weapon system, which creates clearance problems with chest rigs, vehicle mounts, and some holster configurations. Stowing below the sight plane keeps the magnifier within the receiver’s lateral footprint and avoids that problem entirely.

The Holosun-specific interface is a precision fit for Holosun magnifier models — no adapters, no shimming, no play introduced by a universal clamp trying to serve multiple optics. The integrated FAST QD lever lets the entire assembly come off the rail in a single motion without tools, which is consistent with the broader FAST platform’s approach to rail attachment. The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat anodize, a combination that provides both structural rigidity and surface hardness suited to hard-use environments.
