Description

The Unity Tactical FAST MRDS mount is built for shooters running a micro red dot on a rifle or carbine who want their optic at a height that supports a heads-up, chin-to-stock firing position rather than forcing a craned neck. The core design logic is the 2.26-inch optical centerline — the same height Unity established across the FAST line — so an MRDS sits at the same plane as a full-size red dot on a FAST mount, keeping muscle memory consistent when you switch between rifles.

Compatibility is broad by design. The mount ships with an RMR-footprint base plate, and the FAST Modular Accessory Suite offers additional adapter plates that bring in DeltaPoint Pro, ACRO, 509T, RMSc, and Holosun K footprints. That means the mount itself isn’t tied to a single optic family — if you change sights down the road, swapping an adapter plate is cheaper than replacing the entire mount. The two cross-bolt rail clamp provides a solid attachment to any Picatinny-spec rail, and the mount can be retrofitted with the FAST QD Lever if you need rapid removal capability. It is also compatible with Unity’s FAST FTC magnifier mounts, with the exception of setups using the Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, which sits outside that pairing.

The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat anodize in Flat Dark Earth. The alloy keeps weight down without sacrificing the structural rigidity needed to hold zero under recoil, and the hardcoat finish resists wear in field conditions. At 3.0 ounces, it adds minimal mass to the front end of the firearm.
