The FAST Thermal Riser from Unity Tactical is built for shooters who run a clip-on thermal device forward of a primary optic. Clip-on thermals sit low on the rail by default, which forces a compromise between the thermal’s optical axis and the height-over-bore of whatever optic sits behind it. This riser corrects that mismatch by lifting the thermal to a 2.05-inch centerline height, the same plane used across the FAST mount ecosystem, so the two devices share a consistent axis without shimming or improvised solutions.

The practical effect is cleaner eye-to-optic alignment when transitioning between day and night capability. Rather than re-zeroing or adjusting your position to accommodate a low-mounted thermal, you get a geometry that works with your existing cheek weld and sight picture. That consistency matters most in conditions where you are switching between optic modes quickly and cannot afford the lost time of settling into a new head position.

As an accessory mount in the FAST line, the Thermal Riser is designed to integrate with Unity’s broader mounting architecture rather than function as a standalone item. This Black variant carries MPN FST-TRB. The FDE version is available separately for shooters matching a specific finish across their build.
