Description
The Unity Tactical ModButton Lite LINK is a remote weapon light switch built for shooters who need reliable momentary activation without the bulk of a full-sized control unit. Where the original ModButton integrates its own mount, the Lite version strips that away and delivers the same high-power cable and switch mechanism in a smaller, lighter package — a meaningful difference when handguard real estate is tight or overall weight matters.
The switch is injection-molded polymer and fully potted, meaning the internal electronics are encased in a solid compound rather than left in an air cavity. That construction eliminates water ingress points and protects the switch from the mechanical stress of hard use without adding appreciable weight.
The USB-C connection is part of Unity’s LINK system, designed to work with the GASCAP LINK tailcap. The 7-inch cable gives enough slack to route cleanly from a pressure pad position near the support hand back to a Scout-style light body, and the SureFire-compatible lead means compatibility extends backward to SureFire, Arisaka, and Modlite Scout bodies as well as SureFire UE and DS00 tailcaps. The Flat Dark Earth finish matches the ModButton Lite to common FDE-equipped setups without requiring a custom order.
Activation is momentary-only — there is no constant-on mode built into the switch itself. That is a deliberate design choice that keeps unintended activation from leaving a light running and draining a battery or compromising a position. The switch mounts on MIL-STD M1913 Picatinny rail in either left- or right-hand orientation; M-LOK mounting requires the separately sold MLOK Mounting Kit.
