Description

The Yankee Hill Machine Flip Sight Set gives AR-platform shooters a complete iron sight solution in a single package, pairing a same-plane front and rear sight designed to co-witness with standard M16/M4 front sight heights. That co-witness capability matters practically: if a red dot goes down or a battery dies, you transition directly to a known zero without adjusting your cheek weld or sight picture.

Both sights fold flush against the rail with a push-button release, which keeps the top of the receiver clear when an optic is the primary sighting system. When you need them, they flip up and lock positively into the deployed position. The base is steel throughout, with an aluminum stem — a construction choice that keeps weight down without sacrificing the rigidity needed for repeatable sight alignment under recoil. The quick-release thumb screw makes mounting to any Picatinny rail straightforward and tool-free.

The rear sight offers both a large and a small aperture. The small aperture is suited to precision shooting at distance where a finer sight picture helps; the large aperture is faster to acquire and more forgiving in low light or at closer ranges. Both elevation and windage adjustments are available in half-MOA increments, giving you the resolution to dial in a precise zero rather than splitting the difference between clicks. Standard AR sight posts are compatible, and the necessary hardware ships with the set. A front sight tool is required for post adjustments and is not included. The entire assembly is manufactured in the United States.
