Most muzzle devices force a choice between brake and compensator function; this one combines both in a single unit. The angled top ports redirect propellant gas upward to push the muzzle down under recoil, while the lateral porting bleeds pressure to the sides to slow rearward movement — the result is a device that works on both axes simultaneously rather than trading one for the other.
