Description
The EOTech Vudu 4-12×36 FFP with EFLX is built for shooters who want a single, compact platform capable of handling both close-quarters work and reaching out to practical distance — particularly well-suited to AR-pattern rifles in 5.56 or similar cartridges. At 7.1 inches overall, it is unusually short for a variable-power scope, which matters on a rifle where balance and maneuverability under magnification are already a compromise.
Because the MR5 reticle sits in the first focal plane, its subtensions remain accurate at every power setting. That means you can use the holdover marks for ranging and elevation corrections at 4x the same way you would at 12x, without doing mental math to compensate for magnification. On a second focal plane scope, that calculation is required at any setting other than the reticle’s calibrated power — FFP removes that variable entirely when conditions change quickly.
Turrets are capped and adjustable in 0.1 MRAD increments, which pairs directly with the MR5 MRAD reticle — your correction math stays in the same unit system throughout. The CR2032-powered illumination runs approximately 300 hours and offers ten brightness levels through a rotary dial, giving you usable settings across both bright daylight and low-light conditions.
The package includes the EFLX 3 MOA red dot and an integrated mount machined from aircraft-grade aluminum. The mount’s design is compatible with most aftermarket mini-ACOG-style mounts and allows the EFLX to be positioned at 12 o’clock or 45 degrees on the front tube section, so you can transition to the unmagnified red dot without removing your cheek weld or racking the magnification ring under stress.
