Description

The SB22 Takedown Kit is built for shooters who want a compact, packable rimfire platform without giving up modularity. It fits Takedown versions of the Ruger 10/22 and 22 Charger, turning a receiver you already own into something purpose-built for backpacking, truck storage, or any situation where a rifle that breaks into two pieces earns its keep.

The chassis was developed in partnership with Unity Tactical and is built from reinforced polymer, keeping the overall weight low enough that the chassis itself does not work against the Takedown format’s portability advantage. An aerospace-grade aluminum insert handles the receiver fit, so the interface between chassis and action stays consistent whether you’re running an OEM Ruger receiver or an aftermarket clone.

The handguard runs M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions, giving you a practical surface to mount lights, bipods, or other accessories without committing to anything permanently. Up top, a Picatinny-compatible bridge cover keeps the rail clear when not in use and comes off when you need it for an optic or offset mount. At the rear, an ambidextrous steel QD socket is integrated into the chassis body, so sling attachment doesn’t depend on an add-on adapter.

The chassis accepts any M1913-compatible brace or stock at the rear, which means you’re not locked into a proprietary interface. A Reptilia CQG grip is included, along with the bridge mount, flat top cover, and mounting hardware. Everything is made in the USA. This version is specific to Takedown-format receivers — it is not compatible with fixed-stock 10/22 configurations.
