Description

The Alleycat 762 Ti QD is built for law enforcement, military, and government units that need a suppressor capable of sustained operational use without adding unnecessary weight to the host rifle. Combat Application Technologies developed the Alleycat line in-house, drawing on personnel with Special Mission Unit backgrounds, and that orientation shows in the design priorities: reliability under hard use, low breach fume during extended firing, and a compact form factor that does not change how the host handles in confined spaces.

Titanium is the right material choice for a 7.62mm suppressor intended to move between mission profiles rather than live permanently on one rifle. It absorbs the thermal and mechanical stress of a full-power cartridge while keeping the muzzle-end weight low enough that balance and swing are not compromised. The trade-off with titanium versus steel is cost, not performance — it holds up to sustained fire and resists corrosion in field conditions without the mass penalty.

The quick-detach mounting system is what makes this configuration practically useful across multiple hosts. Each rifle wears its own dedicated muzzle device, and the suppressor indexes onto it and locks without tools. That lockup is repeatable, which matters because a zero shift every time the can comes off defeats part of the purpose of running one suppressor across several rifles. The included 1x16LH QD mount is the interface the system ships with. The 3D-printed Grade 5 (6Al-4V) titanium surge bypass construction manages internal gas flow to reduce the pressure spike that drives fumes back toward the shooter — a practical consideration when the same operator is running multiple strings of fire in sequence.
