The Arisaka Defense 18650 Series Light Body is a replacement body designed for shooters running SureFire M600DF Dual Fuel weapon lights who want to convert to a dedicated 18650 lithium-ion cell format. The M600DF was designed from the factory to accept either CR123A batteries or a single 18650 cell, but the standard body accommodates both configurations through a shared form factor. This Light Body is purpose-built for the 18650 format, giving you a housing optimized around that cell rather than one making compromises to serve two battery types.

The 18650 format is worth running if you are already standardizing on rechargeable lithium cells across your kit. A single 18650 typically offers more total capacity than the CR123A pair it replaces, which can translate to longer runtime at a given output level. Swapping the body also means you are not carrying spare CR123As as a backup option — a deliberate trade-off that makes sense when your charging infrastructure is already in place.
