ARISAKA OFFSET SCOUT MOUNT KEYMOD

Description

The Arisaka Offset Scout Mount exists to solve a specific problem: the standard Picatinny adapter that ships with SureFire Scout M300 and M600 series lights, Modlite PLH and OKW lights, Arisaka 300 and 600 Series lights, and Streamlight ProTac Rail Mount 1, 2, and HL-X units holds the light body away from the rail surface in a way that wastes real estate and can snag on gear. This mount replaces that adapter with a profile under 0.165 inches thick, pulling the light body tight against the handguard surface.

When mounted on a side KeyMod slot, the geometry places the light at a 45-degree offset — oriented upward, the head sits at roughly the 1:30 or 10:30 position; oriented downward, it lands near 4:30 or 6:30. That offset keeps the light out of the way of barricades and support-hand grips while still casting useful illumination on target. The mount offers four lateral positions spanning approximately 0.320 inches, so you can slide the light closer to the muzzle or back toward the receiver to clear a fixed front sight or avoid stacking with other accessories.

The body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished with MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize — the same specification used for mil-spec weapon components, which means the surface is hard enough to resist the kind of repetitive contact that wears through standard anodizing over time. Total weight is 0.4 oz, so it adds essentially nothing to a fighting or hunting carbine. Installation requires a T15 Torx and a 5/64-inch Allen wrench, neither of which is included. Made in the USA.
