Description
The Arisaka Offset Scout Mount for the MCX Spear LT is built for shooters who want a weapon light mounted close to the handguard without the bulk of the factory Picatinny rail adapter it replaces. The design is specific to the MCX Spear LT handguard geometry, and it also fits the Aero Precision Enhanced Gen 2 handguard, so it isn’t a universal mount pressed into service — it’s engineered for those platforms.
Mounting at the 3 or 9 o’clock M-LOK positions keeps the light body tight to the handguard while still clearing top-rail lasers like the ATPIAL-C, PEQ-15, DBAL-A2, and NGAL. For use with the MAWL, the mount flips to the angled M-LOK slots and positions the light below the rail rather than beside it. Three lateral positions for the light body, spanning roughly 0.240 inches total, let you fine-tune fore-and-aft placement to work around front sights or other accessories rather than forcing a single fixed location.
The body is CNC machined from 6061-T651 aluminum and finished with MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodizing. Installation uses a T20 Torx or IP20 TorxPlus driver and requires M-LOK screws torqued to 30 inch-lbs; the light body screws torque to 20 inch-lbs, both with Loctite 222 or 243 recommended. Compatible lights include the Surefire M300 and M600 Scout series, Modlite PLH, PLHv2 and OKW, Streamlight Protac Rail Mount 1, 2, and HL-X (non-laser), Olight Odin and Odin Mini, CD REIN, and Arisaka 300, 600, and 18650 series. Surefire M620, M951/2, and M961/2 lights are also compatible with the addition of Arisaka’s Offset M620 Adapter. Note that this mount has limited or no compatibility with Rattler LT models. Made in the USA and covered under U.S. Patent No. 11385026 and D1067363.
