It suits the collector who wants a genuine milled-receiver AK and the practical shooter who wants a rifle that tolerates hard use without losing mechanical integrity over time.

The receiver sets this rifle apart from most AK-pattern designs on the American market. Where many milled receivers are machined from bar stock, Arsenal starts with a hot-die hammer-forged blank produced under a 5-ton press. That forging process removes internal voids and the cooling deformations common to cast or bar-stock material, producing steel with a finer, denser grain structure. The forged blank then requires over five and a half hours of milling before it is ready for assembly — a time investment that reflects the tolerances Arsenal is working to, not a shortcut.

The barrel is cold hammer-forged using Steyr manufacturing equipment and finished with a hard-chrome lining through both the bore and the chamber. Chrome lining extends service life under sustained fire and makes the bore substantially easier to clean after exposure to corrosive or lacquer-sealed ammunition. The 1:7-inch twist rate stabilizes the full range of 5.56 projectiles, including heavier 77-grain loads that a slower twist will not fully stabilize — useful if the rifle will see precision work alongside general use.

The Plum polymer furniture is Arsenal factory-original, matched by a Plum Circle 10 magazine. The fire control group is the FIME Enhanced unit, a drop-in upgrade that Arsenal installs before the rifle ships. The intermediate-length buttstock runs a 13.4-inch length of pull, which fits a wider range of shooters and body armor configurations than a standard-length stock.
