The B5 Systems P-Grip in Type 22 Woodland is designed for shooters who want a more vertical grip angle than a standard mil-spec pistol grip provides. That increased angle shifts the wrist into a more neutral position, which makes it easier to keep the trigger finger indexed correctly before and during the shot—a meaningful ergonomic improvement for anyone running an AR-platform rifle for extended sessions.

The grip omits a traditional backstrap by design, not by accident. Without one, the hand rides higher on the grip frame, increasing the amount of surface contact between the palm and the grip itself.
