Description

The BCM Mod 4 Jack Carr pistol grip is a collaboration between Bravo Company USA and Jack Carr, the author and former Navy SEAL known for the Terminal List series. It carries the Crossed Tomahawks design that runs through Carr’s work, but the collaboration doesn’t change what matters most: this is still a working grip built around the Mod 4’s ergonomic geometry.

The reduced grip angle is the defining mechanical choice here. Compared to a traditional AR pistol grip, the shallower angle brings the wrist into a more neutral position, which eases the reach to the trigger and helps keep the trigger finger aligned across a broader range of hand sizes. That geometry tends to reduce wrist strain during extended range work and gives you a more consistent trigger pull without compensating with wrist rotation.

The aggressive surface texture is cut to keep purchase under sweat, gloves, or wet conditions rather than relying on a smooth polymer finish. An extended forward tang closes the gap that typically exists between the trigger guard and grip body on mil-spec lowers — a gap that can pinch the middle finger under recoil or simply feel unfinished. The high-rise beavertail backstrap fills the web of the hand more completely, which contributes to muzzle control during rapid fire. The open bottom keeps weight down without affecting structural integrity in a grip that sees this kind of stress.
