Description

Modern carbine technique has moved away from the bladed, elbow-out stance that the original M16 manual of arms assumed. Shooters now square up to the target, and that shift puts the wrist in an awkward position with a standard A2-style grip. The BCM Gunfighter Grip Mod 1 in Flat Dark Earth addresses that directly: its reduced grip angle keeps the wrist in a more neutral position when the shooter is squared off, which reduces fatigue during extended handling and makes trigger press more consistent across shooting positions.

The grip is built from impact-resistant polymer and includes a hinged trap door at the base sealed with a water-resistant rubber gasket, providing a dry space for small storage items like a battery or emergency supplies. Two modular inserts ship in the box. The extended insert fills the gap between the grip and a standard trigger guard; the smooth insert is intended for lower receivers that already have a larger built-in trigger guard. The user chooses which one to install based on their specific lower, so the grip fits a wide range of AR-platform rifles without modification to the receiver.

BCM test-fits each grip before it ships, and the finished product may show minor marks consistent with that process. Made in the USA. California Prop 65 warning applies.
