Description
The BCM RECCE-11 M-LOK is built around a compact 11.5-inch Government profile barrel that runs a carbine-length gas system. At that barrel length, carbine gas timing raises port pressure and cycle velocity relative to a mid-length setup, which is worth knowing when you select a buffer weight — pairing it with an H2 or heavier buffer is a common adjustment to tame the sharper impulse and extend component life. The bore and chamber are chrome lined, which resists corrosion and simplifies cleaning after extended strings of fire without sacrificing durability under sustained heat.
The upper and lower receivers are machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and hard coat anodized, a material choice that keeps weight reasonable while holding up to field handling. The M-LOK handguard runs nearly the full length of the barrel, giving you unobstructed rail space for lights, pressure switches, or a support hand position further forward without adding bulk beneath the bore. An M4 feed ramp barrel extension is cut into the barrel extension itself, which keeps reliable feeding intact across a wide range of magazine and ammunition types.
The pistol ships optic ready with no fixed sights, so you are choosing your own zero from the start rather than working around irons you may not want. The ambidextrous safety lever accommodates left- and right-handed operation without modification. A MOD 0 Compensator is fitted at the muzzle. One 30-round magazine is included.
