Description

The B&T Low Profile NAR Mount is designed for shooters running an HK MP5, MP5K, or MP5SD who want to mount an Aimpoint Micro-series optic as close to the bore axis as possible. The proprietary NAR rail interface is specific to Aimpoint Micro geometry — it is not a standard 1913 Picatinny rail — so the optic sits lower than a conventional rail-and-ring setup would allow, which is what makes a usable co-witness with the MP5’s fixed iron sights achievable rather than theoretical.

The body is machined from aluminum with steel hardware and finished in hardcoat anodizing, which gives the surface meaningful resistance to wear and corrosion without adding appreciable weight. At 62 grams, the mount keeps the balance of the platform close to what it is stock. The 84 mm rail length accommodates the Aimpoint Micro footprint without overhanging the receiver or interfering with the ejection path.

Compatibility is narrow by design: B&T specifies this mount for Aimpoint Micro models only. If you are running a T-1, T-2, H-1, or H-2 with a low-profile Aimpoint Micro mount, this system works. The Aimpoint CompM5, which uses a different base interface, requires its own mount and will not seat correctly here. Fitting is straightforward on factory-spec MP5 and SP5 variants; clone platforms with non-standard receiver dimensions may require additional fitting work.
