The Match Pro ED is built for precision rifle competition — PRS, NRL22, and similar formats where consistent, repeatable adjustments matter more than any single shot. The first focal plane placement of the illuminated G5 reticle means the subtension marks remain accurate at every magnification setting, so you can call holds or read wind corrections at 3x the same as at 18x without running a conversion in your head.

The locking elevation turret uses a two-stage revolution indicator — the indicator band reads red on the second rotation and stainless on the third — so you always know where you are in the turret’s total travel without counting clicks or referencing a dope card. The easy-set zero stop lets you return to your base zero quickly under field conditions. Windage is a capped, non-locking design, which keeps the knob protected between sessions while the elevation turret stays exposed for rapid dial-up adjustments during a stage.

The 0.1 MRAD click value keeps the math clean when shooting metric: one click moves point of impact one centimeter at 100 meters. The side-focus parallax adjustment goes down to 15 yards, which makes the scope equally workable on a rimfire rifle at close range — a deliberate design choice that lets one optic serve both a rimfire and a centerfire build without compromise.

The shake-awake illumination system preserves battery life between uses, and the 3-position power change lever can be positioned for either hand or removed entirely in favor of the included filler screw.
