Description

The Bushnell AR Optics TRS-25 Hi-Rise is a 1x red dot sight built for fast target acquisition on AR-platform rifles, pistol-caliber carbines, and shotguns where a co-witness or riser-height mount makes practical sense. The integrated Hi-Rise mount positions the optic high enough to align naturally with standard AR sights, so you are not reaching for a separate riser and introducing another point of failure or misalignment.

The 3 MOA dot subtends a small enough area at distance that it does not bury the target during careful shots, while still being easy to pick up quickly at close range — a reasonable middle ground between the broad dots suited to pure close-quarters work and the fine dots that slow you down under stress. With eleven brightness settings, the dot can be dialed down for low-light use without washing out your night vision adaptation, or cranked up to remain visible against a bright sky.

The housing is nitrogen-purged and O-ring sealed. Nitrogen purging displaces the internal air that would otherwise carry moisture, preventing fogging on the interior optical surfaces when you move between temperature extremes — a failure mode that can black out an optic at exactly the wrong moment. The sealed construction also handles submersion, not just splash resistance. Elevation and windage each offer 80 MOA of total travel, which gives meaningful adjustment range when mounting to a host with a non-ideal rail position. Click adjustments track in 1 MOA increments. The sight runs on a single CR2032 coin cell with a rated battery life of up to 5,000 hours, so routine battery swaps are infrequent and the cell itself is available at any hardware or grocery store.
