Description
The C&H Precision Duty is built for shooters who need a pistol optic they can stake reliability on — duty carry, concealed carry, or competition — without accepting the vulnerability of an open emitter. The sealed, closed-emitter housing keeps the lens and LED element protected from dust, debris, and water, so the dot is there when you need it regardless of conditions. That sealed design matters most when the optic lives on a carry gun that sees real weather and regular holstering rather than sitting in a safe between range trips.
The multi-reticle system pairs a 3 MOA center dot with a 30 MOA outer circle. The smaller dot preserves precision at distance, while the larger circle gives the eye an immediate reference for close-quarters acquisition — useful when a target is well inside the distance where fine aiming matters less than speed. Both elements project in red, and the sight runs ten brightness steps, with the two lowest tuned for use with night-vision equipment.
Shake Awake brings the optic live from standby the moment it detects movement, and auto shutoff engages after a period of inactivity to stretch battery life. The CR2032 cell is a common, widely available size. Mounting uses the ACRO footprint, which means direct installation on any slide or mount cut to that pattern; some platforms will require an adapter plate that is sold separately. The one-piece aluminum housing is machined to accept a side-clamping mount, keeping the unit low and stable under recoil from standard and overpressure ammunition.
