Description

The C&H Precision RMSC Max is a compact red dot optic built around the widely adopted RMSc footprint, making it a direct-fit option for a broad range of carry pistols and shotguns without adapter plates or gunsmithing. It is aimed at shooters who want a purpose-built optic for a defensive or duty handgun rather than a repurposed rifle or carbine sight.

The housing is machined from a single piece of 7075-T6 aluminum, which eliminates the seams and fasteners that can introduce flex or point-of-impact shift under recoil. The matte black finish reduces surface reflection without adding bulk. The optic is rated to handle +P and +P+ ammunition, meaning the internal components and mounting geometry are engineered for the sharper, repetitive shock cycles that higher-pressure pistol rounds produce — a meaningful distinction for anyone running a carry gun in a self-defense caliber.

The 24mm objective lens provides substantially more reflective lens area than what you get from a standard micro red dot, which translates to a wider visible window and less time hunting for the dot when you bring the gun up quickly. The multi-reticle capability lets you switch between a 2.5 MOA red dot for precise aiming and a 24 MOA circle-dot for faster close-range acquisition — two different shooting tasks addressed without changing the optic. Shake Awake activation powers the unit on when it detects movement and lets it sleep when the gun sits still, preserving a rated 50,000-hour battery life. Ten brightness levels include night-vision-compatible settings, and the IPX7 waterproof rating means immersion in shallow water will not compromise function.
