C&H PLT PRDGY TO RMR/407C/507C/508T

Description

The C&H Precision Agency Optic System plate for the Springfield Armory Prodigy is a direct-fit adapter that lets you mount a Trijicon RMR, Holosun 407C, 507C, or 508T to a pistol whose factory optic cut uses the AOS footprint. The plate is machined from aluminum and finished in MIL-SPEC Type III hard anodize, a process that produces a surface dense enough to resist the repeated contact between a mounted optic and its seat over thousands of rounds.

One design detail worth understanding is the hardware approach. Rather than threading directly into the aluminum plate body — which can strip or lose torque over time — C&H uses stainless steel T-nuts captured in the plate. This gives the mounting screws a steel-into-steel thread engagement that holds torque more consistently than aluminum threads would. Separate screw sets are included for the RMR footprint and for the Holosun 507C and 508T, since those optics use different hole spacing and screw lengths. All mounting hardware is stainless steel.

The plate also carries an integrated rear sight, so you retain a usable sight picture even when running a red dot. This matters on a duty or carry pistol where a lost or damaged optic leaves you without a backup aiming reference if the slide-mounted irons are incompatible with the plate height. The rear sight here is built into the plate itself, eliminating that gap in the system. C&H machines these plates in-house at their facility in Richmond Hill, Georgia.
