Description
The Banshee MK4 is built for shooters who want a compact, pistol-caliber carbine on a platform they already know. Because it runs on a standard AR15-pattern lower receiver, anyone with time behind an AR15 can pick this up and get to work without relearning controls or manual of arms. That familiarity extends to magazine compatibility: the MK4 uses 9mm AR conversion magazines, and CMMG’s conversion adapters let you repurpose existing PMAGs for 9mm use rather than building a separate magazine inventory from scratch.
The EML handguard runs full-length M-LOK slots along both sides and the bottom, plus M-LOK sections between the top Picatinny rail segments, giving you room to mount lights, lasers, or a foregrip without committing to a fixed layout. The RIPBRACE deploys quickly and is designed to be usable out of the bag with minimal setup time.
The 5-inch barrel keeps the overall package short, which shapes how this gun handles in tight spaces but also means the 9mm round exits before it reaches peak velocity — a trade-off worth understanding if terminal performance at distance matters to your intended use. The ambidextrous safety is a practical inclusion rather than a premium add-on, making the gun workable without modification for left-handed shooters. The flat top upper is optics ready, so you’re starting from a clean slate rather than working around a fixed iron sight riser. A 30-round magazine ships with the pistol. The Armor Black finish is CMMG’s own designation and covers both the upper and lower.
