The CMMG Resolute MK4 in .22 ARC is built for shooters who want genuine intermediate-cartridge performance in a carbine-length AR-15 package — a useful middle ground between a full-size precision rifle and something shorter that gives up too much velocity to be practical at distance. The .22 ARC was developed specifically to push small-diameter, high-BC projectiles to their potential from barrels in this length range, and the 1:7-inch twist rate is fast enough to stabilize the heavier, longer bullets that make the cartridge worth using in the first place. If you intend to run 75-grain or heavier .22 ARC loads, that twist rate matters more than it might appear on a spec sheet.

The rifle runs on direct impingement, which in a carbine like this keeps the reciprocating mass modest and the manual of arms identical to any standard AR-15. The barrel carries a black nitride finish, which hardens the bore surface and provides corrosion resistance without adding the dimensional inconsistency that can come with thicker external coatings. Threading is cut at 5/8×24, the standard pitch for .22-caliber centerfire suppressors and muzzle devices, and CMMG fits a Zeroed muzzle brake from the factory. The 15-inch EML handguard gives you a long sight radius and genuine reach for support-hand positioning, with M-LOK slots at the 3, 6, 9, and 12 o’clock positions. No sights are included, so plan for an optic — the receiver carries a Picatinny rail. The ambidextrous safety lever and the six-position RipStock round out a configuration that ships ready to use without requiring immediate parts swaps. Receiver and handguard wear Black Armor Cerakote.
