Description

The EOTech PRS 2″ Cantilever Mount is designed for precision rifle competitors and dedicated range shooters who need a repeatable, secure optic platform without committing to a permanently torqued mount. The cantilever geometry offsets the ring position forward of the receiver, which on most precision bolt guns places a 30mm scope tube at the correct eye relief without crowding the action or forcing an awkward cheek-weld adjustment.

The mount attaches to a MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail or a 1″ Weaver rail, and the quick-detach lever is both adjustable and lockable—meaning you can dial in the clamping force to your rail, then lock that setting so it doesn’t drift over repeated removals. That matters in a PRS context where glass may come off between stages or for transport and needs to return to zero reliably each time. The lever design is EOTech’s own, not a generic aftermarket mechanism.

The 30mm ring diameter accommodates the tube size common to most modern precision and competition scopes, including EOTech’s own Vudu line. Finish is matte black. At 0.38 lbs the mount adds minimal weight to a rifle already carrying a heavy barrel and chassis, which is a practical consideration when your gear is on your shoulder all day across a multigun or positional match. This is a purpose-built accessory rather than a general-purpose ring set—if your shooting involves the mount coming off and going back on with any regularity, the locking QD lever justifies the choice over a conventional two-piece ring setup.
