The EOTech PRS 2″ Cantilever Ring Mount is built for precision rifle shooters who run a 34mm main tube scope on an AR-platform or similar flat-top rifle and need to push the optic forward to achieve proper eye relief without crowding their head back toward the receiver. That 2-inch forward offset is the core reason this mount exists: it lets you maintain a natural cheek weld and consistent head position rather than compromising your position to chase the scope’s eye box.

The mount centers the scope tube 37mm above the top surface of the Picatinny rail. That height is a deliberate choice for AR-geometry shooters — it clears the flat-top receiver and allows a standard cheek weld on most stocks without requiring a raised comb, while keeping the bore-to-optic offset predictable for holdover calculations at close range.

A quick-disconnect lever handles attachment and removal from MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail without tools, which matters when swapping the optic between rifles or pulling it for storage. Four cap screws per ring clamp the scope tube, distributing clamping force evenly around the 34mm diameter to avoid distorting the tube under torque. The mount is machined from aluminum and finished with a Type III hard anodize, which provides a durable, corrosion-resistant surface suited to field conditions. This is a zero-MOA mount, so it imposes no built-in elevation cant — any long-range elevation compensation comes from the scope’s internal adjustment or a separately canted base.
