Description
The EOTech Vudu 5-25×50 with H59 reticle is built for precision rifle work at extended range — competition shooters, long-range hunters, and anyone who needs a first focal plane optic that keeps pace with high-magnification demands without adding bulk to the platform. At roughly 11.2 inches, it is among the more compact first focal plane scopes at this power range, which matters practically: a shorter body leaves room ahead of the scope for a clip-on night vision or thermal device while still giving the shooter unobstructed access to the device’s controls.
The H59 is a Horus reticle, and what that means for the shooter is a dense grid of hash marks that allows direct holdover and wind correction without dialing — useful when target distance or conditions change faster than you can work a turret. Because this reticle sits on the first focal plane, it scales proportionally with magnification, so the hash marks remain metrically accurate at any power setting rather than only at a designated reference magnification.
When you do want to dial, the elevation turret uses EOTech’s EZ Chek zero stop system paired with a push-pull locking mechanism. The zero stop lets you return to your confirmed zero without counting clicks or risking an under-run, and the locking function prevents accidental movement under handling. Illumination is LED-driven in red and runs off a CR2032 battery, with an auto shut-off that extends runtime considerably. The optic uses XC High-Density glass throughout and comes with a sunshade included.
