Description

The GBRS Group Second Best Sling is built for shooters who want a single-point or two-point capable sling that stays out of the way until it’s needed. The Coyote Brown colorway pairs with a wide range of kit and finish combinations without drawing attention to the rig itself.

The forward lead end is designed to be trimmed to the user’s body dimensions, which means the fit is permanent and personal rather than relying on bulky adjustment hardware that can shift under load. A separate tail at the rear handles fine-tuning once the front end is set. That separation of coarse and fine adjustment is a deliberate design choice: it keeps the working length of the sling predictable during transitions rather than allowing it to drift.

The neck pad uses a closed-cell crosslink foam core covered in a four-way stretch Tweave fabric. The stretch covering lets the pad move with the shooter rather than grabbing at soft armor or plate carrier fabric, and the tapered ends prevent the pad edges from snagging when the carbine is swept across the back. The pull tab is reinforced with two center bar tacks; removing those bar tacks converts it into a thumb loop, giving the shooter a quick way to manage muzzle direction with the support hand.

Hardware has been kept to a minimum throughout — there are no metal attachment swivels or quick-detach cups included in the sling itself, which keeps the overall weight to 2.7 oz. Attachment hardware can be added separately to match the mounting points already on the rifle. This is a sling for shooters who have thought through their setup and want the sling to contribute as little mass and complexity as possible.
