Description

The MBUS Pro Sight – Front is a steel backup iron sight designed for AR-platform rifles where a lightweight polymer option isn’t enough. It’s built for shooters who run their gear hard and need a front sight that can take the same abuse as the rifle it’s mounted on—and still hold zero when asked.

The all-steel body is finished in a QPQ salt bath nitride process, which increases surface hardness and builds in serious corrosion resistance without adding a thick coating that could affect fit or tolerances. That finish choice matters in wet, sandy, or high-sweat environments where anodized aluminum or blued steel would show wear much faster.

When stowed, the sight sits at just 0.43 inches above the rail, keeping your sight picture clean and eliminating snag points that could catch on gear or a shooting bag. Deploying it brings the post to standard AR sight height, so it indexes naturally with any rear sight set at the same reference. Detents hold the sight in both positions, which means it won’t creep down under recoil or vibration and doesn’t require a tool to snap it into place.

Elevation adjusts without tools as well, and detents hold the knob in position so a zero set in the field doesn’t walk over the course of a range session. The included post offers two usable widths—0.06 inches for faster target acquisition in low-light or high-stress situations, and a narrower 0.04-inch profile when the shot calls for more precision. Both widths are built into the same post, so switching between them takes seconds and carries no additional parts to lose.

Mounts to any MIL-STD-1913 Picatinny rail, including receiver-height gas blocks. Made in the USA.
