Description

The Magpul MIAD/MOE Battery Storage Core is a purpose-built internal unit that replaces the standard core in MIAD grips and in MOE, MOE-K2, and MOE AK grips, converting dead grip space into accessible onboard storage. For shooters who rely on lights, lasers, or other CR123A-powered accessories, keeping a spare set of batteries inside the grip means they travel with the rifle rather than sitting in a bag or a pocket. When the moment comes to swap cells in the field, they are already in hand.

The unit is self-contained and constructed to resist water intrusion, so inclement conditions or a trip through standing water are not an immediate concern for the batteries inside. Access is straightforward: a captured rubber cap opens with thumb pressure and stays tethered to the unit so nothing is lost in the process. The captured design matters in low-light or high-stress situations where tracking a loose cap is not realistic.

Compatibility extends across a range of Magpul grip platforms, making this a practical addition whether the rifle is running a standard MIAD configuration or one of the MOE variants.
