Description
The Magpul MOE-K2 grip is built for shooters who run their AR-15 or M4-pattern rifle hard and want a hand position that reduces fatigue over long sessions. The K2 designation refers to the steeper grip angle compared to the standard MOE grip — closer to a vertical orientation — which allows the wrist to stay straighter behind the bore. That geometry tends to keep the trigger finger indexed more consistently across different hand sizes, and it puts less rotational strain on the forearm when holding a firing position for extended periods.
The grip is molded in Magpul’s reinforced polymer, which resists the kind of flex and creep that accumulates under heat and sustained use. The Multi-Cam Black finish — MCB — is a subdued, dark pattern rather than a solid color, integrated into the material rather than applied over it, so it does not wear through at contact points. The surface texture is aggressive enough to maintain purchase with wet or gloved hands without being abrasive against bare skin during extended handling.
Installation is straightforward on any mil-spec AR-15 or M4 lower receiver, and the grip retains the standard storage compartment in the base for a battery or small kit. The storage plug is captured, so it stays with the grip rather than disappearing into a range bag. For a shooter transitioning from a traditional A2-style grip, the K2 angle will feel noticeably different at first, but most find that the wrist alignment it promotes becomes a clear advantage once the hand position is dialed in.
