Description

The Magpul MS1 MS4 Adapter exists to solve a specific problem: you have an MS1 two-point sling and you want the option to run it as a one-point without buying a separate sling. Paired with an MS1 Sling and an additional QD Sling Swivel, this adapter adds a push-button QD attachment point that lets you shift between configurations with one hand, so transitioning from a two-point carry to a tight one-point for close work doesn’t require stopping to reconfigure your gear.

The QD D-ring is precision-cast steel with a QPQ salt bath nitride finish—the same process sometimes called Melonite—which forms a very hard, slick surface that resists rust and wear better than conventional bluing. The push-button QD Sling Swivel itself is manganese-phosphate finished and is sized to mate with the push-button QD cups found on most lower receiver end plates and buttstocks, so fitment is broad across AR-platform rifles.

The 1-1/4-inch nylon webbing is the same spec Magpul uses in the MS1 Sling itself, which keeps the two components consistent in feel and wear characteristics. The Coyote webbing includes a Near Infrared treatment that reduces the IR signature of the material—a practical consideration for anyone using night-vision equipment.
