Description

The Magpul MS1 is a dedicated two-point sling built for shooters who need to move between hands-free carry and a shooting position without fumbling with hardware. The core of the design is the MS1 Slider, a one-handed adjustment mechanism that lets you lengthen or shorten the sling on the move. Once set, it holds position under load without drifting, which eliminates the need for the retaining loops and dangling tails found on conventional adjustable slings — material that can catch on gear, vehicles, or cover at the worst possible moment.

The webbing is custom-made 1-1/4″ nylon, chosen for resistance to wear and chafing during sustained hard use. It also carries a Near Infrared treatment that reduces the sling’s IR signature, a detail that matters in environments where night-vision or thermal equipment is in play. Hardware throughout is heavy-duty polymer, keeping weight down without compromising the strength needed for dynamic load testing — Magpul ran the MS1 through tens of thousands of adjustment cycles across wet, dry, and sandy conditions, as well as static load holds and weighted drop tests.

Out of the box the MS1 functions as a two-point sling, which gives the most stable shooting support and the easiest shoulder transitions. With optional Magpul adapters — sold separately — it can be reconfigured for single-point carry. That modularity means the sling can follow the rifle through different roles rather than being replaced when requirements change. Made in the USA and Berry Amendment compliant.
