Description

The Magpul MS1 QD Adapter is built for shooters who want to run an MS1 sling in a single-point configuration, with the option to expand that setup later. On its own, the adapter attaches to any receiver, end plate, or buttstock equipped with a push-button QD socket, giving you a clean, tool-free connection point at the rear of the rifle. The push-button QD mechanism means the sling can be detached quickly under stress rather than requiring manual threading or hardware manipulation.

Where this adapter earns its place is in a convertible sling system. Paired with the MS1 Sling (MAG513) and an additional Paraclip (MAG541), it supports fast transitions between single-point and two-point carry without removing the sling from the weapon. The Paraclip’s lever is case-hardened steel finished in Melonite, which resists wear and corrosion through extended field use, and a cross-bolt lock bar lets you secure the lever closed if conditions call for it. The hardware throughout is hardened steel reinforced with heavy-duty polymer, keeping weight down without compromising durability.

The webbing on compatible MS1 slings is a custom 1.25-inch width — wide enough to distribute weight comfortably across the shoulder during extended carry. Ranger Green webbing also carries Near Infrared treatment to reduce IR signature, which matters for anyone operating under night vision. The Manganese Phosphate finish on the steel components provides a non-reflective surface and baseline corrosion protection consistent with a field tool rather than a display piece. Made in the USA.
