Description

The Magpul MS1 MS4 Adapter is the piece that lets a standard MS1 Sling operate as both a single-point and two-point carry system without swapping slings or fumbling with improvised solutions. On its own, the MS1 runs as a two-point sling. Add this adapter and one additional QD sling swivel, and the same sling can convert to a single-point configuration — transitioning between the two as the situation demands rather than committing to one carry method before a range session or a hunt.

The mechanical core of the adapter is a heavy-duty push-button QD sling swivel paired with a custom steel connection ring. That steel hardware is finished in either Melonite or manganese phosphate depending on the component, both treatments chosen for corrosion resistance and durability over anodized or painted alternatives that can wear through at contact points. The polymer hardware keeps weight down without introducing play or rattle into the system.

The 1.25-inch nylon webbing is treated for near-infrared reflectivity reduction, which matters in environments where IR illumination is in use and a bright sling signature would stand out. The Ranger Green finish on both the hardware and webbing is Magpul’s own colorway, consistent across their accessory line for those building a coordinated kit.

Rear attachment works with any receiver, end plate, or buttstock that accepts a push-button QD socket, which covers the majority of AR-platform and compatible builds running standard sling infrastructure.
