Description

The Reptilia Socket is a sling attachment point built for shooters who run a sling as a working tool rather than an afterthought. It mounts directly to any M-LOK rail section and positions the QD swivel socket so the swivel faces rearward, keeping the sling close to the rifle’s centerline rather than letting it drift out and catch on gear or barricades. That geometry matters during transitions and when the rifle is slung across the body under load.

The low-profile, anti-snag shape is deliberate: there are no protruding edges to catch on kit, and the socket sits close enough to the handguard that it does not meaningfully shift the rifle’s balance. The body is machined from billet 7075-T6 aluminum, the same alloy used in structural aerospace applications, which keeps weight to 12 grams while handling the stress of a loaded rifle swinging on a single-point or two-point sling. The MIL-STD Type III, Class 2 hard anodized finish in Flat Dark Earth is thick enough to resist wear at the contact points without adding measurable bulk. Hardware ships with the unit using Magpul M-LOK fasteners, so installation requires only a basic wrench and no additional components.
