Description

Push-button QD swivel sockets are among the most common sling attachment points on modern rifles and shotguns, but they accept only a narrow range of sling hardware by design. The QD Paraclip Adapter from Magpul bridges that gap, letting you connect Paraclips and other clip-in sling attachments directly to an existing QD socket without removing or replacing the socket itself. The result is a broader choice of sling options on any platform already fitted with QD socket cups.

The adapter is precision-cast from steel and finished in Melonite, a surface treatment that converts the outer layer of the metal rather than simply coating it. That process produces resistance to both corrosion and abrasion that holds up in wet, dirty, or high-friction use without adding meaningful bulk or weight to the attachment point. The Melonite finish is the same approach Magpul applies across several of its steel sling accessories, and it keeps the surface consistent with other hardware in that lineup.

Installation is straightforward: the adapter seats into the QD socket the same way a standard QD swivel would, and a Paraclip or compatible clip-in attachment then engages the adapter.
