Description
The Radian Weapons Model 1 is built for the shooter who wants a complete, ready-to-run AR-15 without sourcing individual components and hoping they work together. Every part of the package—trigger, charging handle, stock, controls—is chosen by the manufacturer rather than left to the buyer, which means the rifle arrives as an integrated system rather than a platform waiting to be finished.
The .223 Wylde chamber is central to that coherence. It accepts both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition without the pressure and accuracy trade-offs that come from forcing either cartridge into a chamber optimized for the other. For a rifle used across different ammunition lots or shooting contexts, that flexibility matters in practical terms rather than just on paper.
Ambidextrous controls—including the safety lever—mean the rifle doesn’t require adaptation for left-handed shooters or for drills that involve the support hand. The Radian Raptor-SD charging handle extends the same ambidextrous logic to the action itself, with latches on both sides that are large enough to use under stress without being so large they catch on a sling or case. The ATC AR Gold Match trigger provides a consistent pull weight and reset, which matters more for repeatable accuracy than a light trigger weight alone. The Magpul collapsible stock allows length-of-pull adjustments without tools, useful when shooting with varied kit. The rifle ships in Radian OD Green Cerakote, a finish applied over the metal surfaces for corrosion resistance and a matte appearance that reduces glare.
